Buying and playing music from Indiecentric
Our artists choose how their music may be delivered to you; via instant download of individual tracks, instant download of complete CD’s or physical delivery of a CD complete in a jewel box with artwork and liner notes.
You can preview all music before you buy by just clicking on the  .
One thing you won’t get with music you get from Indiecentric … restrictions on how or where you can play the music.
Music you get from Indiecentric may be played on your PC, copied to your MP3 player, burned to a CD so you can play it in your car, whatever.
We only ask that if you decide to share the music you get from Indiecentric, that you be respectful of the time and effort put into creating that music and do what’s right.

Postage and Shipping
For orders shipped to the 50 states, we ship all CDs via first class mail. Shipping and handling is $4.95 per order regardless of the number of CDs ordered.

Payment options
Indiecentric accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and PayPal. If you’ve ordered CDs for physical delivery, we will not charge your credit card until the order ships.

Money back guarantee
We want you to be happy with your Indiecentric purchase.
If we ship you the wrong item, send it back to us and we’ll send you the correct one. We’ll also pay you back for the postage you spent to return it to us if you’ll tell us how much it cost.
If you receive a physical CD or other merchandise and it’s defective, email or call us so that we can make it right. In the case of a CD that doesn’t play, we’ll replace it at no charge to you. In the case of other merchandise, you may return it for credit or replacement- whatever you’d like.

Working with Indiecentric - the nuts and bolts
There is no charge for you to create an account with Indiecentric, upload your music and begin selling and earning money with us.
If you'd like to make your actual CDs or you have other merchandise items like T shirts, hats or posters, available to people for purchase, or you'd like us to upload your music to Indiecentric, we will charge a Setup Fee of $14.95 per CD. That is the only cost to you. If you have a website and you place a link on your site to Indiecentric.com, or if you have a fan mailing list and let them know that your music is available at Indiecentric.com, we will waive the Setup Fee.
For more than two CDs/merchandise items, the Setup Fee is as follows:
- Up to five items: $69.95
- Up to ten items: $119.95

How you make money and get paid
You set the selling price for the music you ask us to sell. 16 days after a customer purchases anything you've supplied for us to sell, we'll deposit the selling price less our fee into an account we create for you. When a customer orders a CD or merchandise to be delivered to them, we may charge them for postage and handling but you are not charged, nor do you receive a portion of those charges.
At the end of the first and third weeks of every month, if there's more than $20 in your account, we'll send you the money. Checks will be made payable to the name used during the Indiecentric registration process and sent via first class mail to the address provided in the registration process.

The fee we charge
The fee we charge is as follows: $4 for every CD purchased, 40 cents for each purchased and downloaded track and 40% of the selling price for merchandise.
Indiecentric is in the business of assisting independent musicians by supplying products and services you need including:
- Offering tools, ways and marketing opportunities to help prospective customers discover you and your music.
- eCommerce services (online acceptance of orders, credit card processing, etc.) to allow customers purchase your music online both from our website, your website if you have one and other websites where possible.
- eCommerce services (online acceptance of orders, credit card processing, etc.) to allow customers to purchase merchandise that's associated with your music such as T-shirts, hats, etc.
- Stocking CDs you may produce and supply to us and then shipping them to customers who purchase them from us.

Delivering your CDs and merchandise to us
The registration process allows you to upload your tracks to the Indiecentric website. You can be selling your music in minutes. If you choose for us to stock physical copies of your CDs, you will need to send us six pieces of each item you want to sell on Indiecentric. We're going to use the first one for setting up your tracks for online purchase and download, Indiecentric staff preview, categorization, scanning of CD cover art and/or to photograph for your page on Indiecentric and it will become our property. The other five pieces will be considered "Inventory" and will be made available for sale.
When you send us your CDs and merchandise, always make sure the order is trackable and insured since Indiecentric assumes responsible for your product only after we've received it; not during transit. Pack it carefully to prevent damage. You don't need to include anything with the CDs.
All UPS shipments are trackable and automatically insured for $300. If your shipment is valued at more than that, make sure to specify. If you ship via USPS, request insurance for an appropriate amount and request proof of delivery. If you're only shipping only CDs, and are budget conscious, you can save a bundle by using the USPS's Media Mail service.

How we'll handle your inventory
Once we have received it, your Inventory is insured against loss. Your inventory is stored at:

When we have fewer than two pieces of any of your Inventory items on hand, we will send you a request via email to send us more. You can also view the status of your inventory in our Artist Central administration area.

Cancelling your account
You can cancel your account with Indiecentric via email. If you decide to cancel your account with Indiecentric, we will properly package your remaining Inventory and ship it back to you COD insured to the address indicated on your merchant profile within thirty days of our receipt of your request to cancel your account. We will also send any money remaining in your account to you thirty days after we receive your request to cancel your account.
We may choose to cancel your account for reasons including a non-functioning email address, product whose content we believe to be unfit for sale or if you don't provide us with Inventory or if we cannot service a customer who purchases your product. If we cancel your account, we will return any remaining Inventory we have and send you any money remaining in your account.
